Access the iPhone Camera from the Lock Screen (iOS 5)

Yet another great feature of iOS 5 is the instant camera access from the iPhone lock screen. You can now take pictures without having to unlock the iPhone or clicking on the camera app.

Here’s how to do this.

From the iOS 5 Lock Screen:

• Double-tap on the Home button, a camera icon will appear next to the unlock slider
• Tap on the Camera for immediate camera access

Once you are in the camera app, you can use the [ VOLUME UP ] button as a shutter to take pictures !!
